Horses, health and movement.

I have been 'horsey' since I started riding at the age of 14 with the Horse Rangers Association in Harwich. I was able to learn care and riding and it was a lovely way to grow up. Over time I bought my first horse, sharing with a friend and now somehow one horse has turned into four!

My work has always been in Health and Fitness and horses remained a hobby, however I decided to make it 'official' and work towards my BHS stages. It has been a long and sometimes challenging process and I became an Accredited Professional Coach in 2016.

My two passions link perfectly and as a Health, Fitness and Biomechanics Coach coupled with my equestrian experience I work with riders 'off horse' to help with fitness, movement and symmetry.

My philosophy is to keep things simple, clear and consistent.

Rider Biomechanics

Intrinsic biomechanics refers to what is happening inside the body to influence your movement patterns. It involves the assessment of internal structures such as joints, muscles and nerves. A Biomechanics coach uses an evidence based screening system to assess the body’s intrinsic biomechanical function and create a personalised iMoveFreely programme to address areas of dysfunction and help you move better.
